About Shadows Over Sol

Shadows Over Sol is an award-winning sci-fi horror tabletop RPG where you and your team venture into the hungry void of outer space. You'll explore derelict spaceships, make deals with shady corporations and try to survive the indescribable horrors encroaching on your every move.

What's New?

We've spent the last few years playtesting the rules, refining and playtesting again. We now have the most complete, easy to understand and terror-inducing rules in the Sol system. Below is a quick summary of the changes:

• Streamlined Character Creation: Make a new player character in minutes using the new archetype system, or customize your character in glorious detail!
• Two Ways to Play: Choose between using a few d10's or a deck of playing cards to run the game, as best fits your group's playing style.
• Grave Wounds: More easily track the wounds that threaten your team with the inevitable specter of death.
• Improved GM Tools: Running the game is a breeze using a variety of new game mastering tools to keep your players on the edge of their seats!
• Stress, Panic and Mental Breaks: Push your luck for desperate advantage, but beware as stress spirals into panic, breakdown and lasting trauma.

Now we would like to invite you to join our latest effort: Strange Bedfellows for Age of Ambition. It is a full-length campaign and sourcebook that follows a group of movers and shakers in the city of Melanoc as they seek to improve the realm, advance their personal ambitions, navigate politics and face an apocalyptic danger lurking in their midst.

Along the way, the party must make unlikely alliances and tough choices, uncover a conspiracy that threatens to stoke the flames of civil unrest and thwart a sinister plot hatched by meddling spies.

Tab Creations is excited to announce the launch our our latest project right here on Kickstarter, Heights of Power: A Revolution in the Age of Ambition RPG.

The project consists of three parts: Heights of Power, Game Master's Toolkit and Melanoc Adventures are three short supplements for the Age of Ambition roleplaying game. They feature powerful new traits, arcane fighting  styles, alternative rules, new hazards and seven one-shot scenarios.

This Kickstarter will be here for three weeks only. We will send out PDF  rewards immediately after the Kickstarter ends so there will be no  waiting for your digital rewards!

Now we would like to invite you to join our latest Kickstarter effort: What Lies Beneath for Age of Ambition. It is a campaign and sourcebook that follows a band of Legionnaires — elite guards of Melanoc — as they patrol the streets, navigate politics and discover an unknown subterranean civilization.

Along the way, the heroes must face off against criminal organizations, explore prophetic dreams, navigate cultural differences, uncover corruption in the highest echelons of society and make a name for themselves as the defenders of the city.
